Israeli Street Fighting...and date night??

Well, in the name of "research",   I persuaded my husband to join me in a krav maga class in Madison. My thanks go out to John Lacy who is a Senior Instructor in Urban Krav Maga and all his students at Black Belt America in Madison, Wisconsin!


My husband and I made it a "date night" and dang...was it fun!

I went to strengthen the writing in my fight scenes and learned more about self-defence than I could have hoped for...

The instructor recommended I read these two books - both are incredible! All women, by the way, should read The Gift of Fear.

So...one more new experience checked off and I can tackle the fight
scenes in my novels now and make them that much more realistic...cool...
